WHY ADOPT WITH KITTY CRUSAIDE?
Our Adoptions Are Not First Come, First Served!
We are dedicated to matching each and every animal with a forever home that is a fantastic match for them and getting them into a Furever Home as soon as they’re ready.
This means multiple potential Adopters might be introduced to the same kitties you meet with, and once we find a great match for a kitty, they can get paired with or adopted by another Adopter.
We prioritize adoptions of pairs/multiples first. Then adoptions into homes that already have a resident cat. And will always make adoption decisions based on what we believe is in the best interest of each individual animal.
*Our adoption process will be handled in accordance with current COVID-19 safety guidelines!

1. Apply. Submit an Adoption Application, providing as much information as you can in answer to each question; the more thorough and descriptive your answers are, the better.
2. Phone Interview. One of our adoption counselors will reach out to you to go over your application. Please understand we are a completely volunteer-run organization and respond to applications as quickly as we possibly can. We appreciate your patience.
3. Virtual Home Visit.* This video-chat visit helps troubleshoot any safety concerns for us to help coach you through getting your home set up for your new kittens and to advise on kitten-proofing solutions. During this time, we are also happy to answer any questions you may have since our adoption counselors are kitten experts and can offer tips and tricks to set you and your new kitten(s) up for success.
4. Meet Our Kitties. When your application as been approved, our adoption counselors will work with you to find a perfect match between you and our currently available kitties.
5. Graduation and Adoption. Once the kitten(s) become Foster Graduates (vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, socialization completed), your adoption can be finalized and they will be able to go home with you. Don’t worry, kittens who haven’t graduated might not be able to go home yet, but they can be reserved for their purrfect, pre-approved family.
